OpenClip burns captions into your clips. The text comes from the on-device transcript made with whisper.cpp, so no audio is sent anywhere. Press C to turn captions on or off.

Controls

• Spoken-word highlight, so the word being said stands out.
• Size, position, words per line and colour.

Fix a word

Double-click a caption word to correct it. Check the captions before you publish; automatic transcription can be wrong, especially with names and rare words. A more accurate model gives fewer mistakes.
