OpenClip is an offline desktop app. It has no accounts and no telemetry.

Network use
Besides the optional model download and the optional update check, the app does not use the network. Transcription, face detection, clip scoring, captions and encoding all run on your Mac.
Claude
If you connect Claude, the assistant receives the clip candidates and any transcript text it asks for. That is handled by the assistant's own service. Quick pick keeps everything local. See Connect Claude.

Make sure you have the right to clip and publish what you import. See the terms and the privacy policy.
