Framing

OpenClip crops your wide video to 9:16 with a virtual camera that follows the speaker's face, using faces found by Apple Vision during import.

How it moves

• It holds still while the speaker stays centred.
• It glides when they move.
• It cuts when the source itself cuts between cameras.

Take control

• Choose who to follow: the closest face, the left one or the right one.
• Set the zoom and nudge the frame.
• Add keyframes by dragging the preview, or by clicking the framing track on the timeline.

Active-speaker detection for scenes with several people is on the roadmap.
